Faith

Of all the lives I've ever dreamt
None has from the start,
Given me such beauty
As this one from the heart.

Although right now my feet seem mired
In some putrid smelling muck,
I know ere long the winds will change

And so it goes from year to year,
Some up, some down, some filled with fear,
